JESC 2013: EBU HOLDS SPECIAL MEETING
Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
KYIV, UKRAINE – Some of you might think that Junior Eurovision Song Contest is dying but this is not really the case as we can understand from the information reaching us. The EBU is making a huge effort to change things at least for the 2014 edition.
It seems that the European Broadcasting Union is inviting EBU active members to go to Kyiv, watch the show and then talk for the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Several non participating countries has accepted the invitation including a BIG 5 country!
It’s already announced that there will be big revamp to the contest idea as of 2014 in order to make the contest a true Junior event and therefoe many countries to return. We hope everything we go well and once again we will remain big supporters of the top youth international event of Europe!
