JESC 2013: BELARUS DECIDED FOR KYIV
MINSK, BELARUS – The winner of Junior Eurovision 2013 National Final in Belarus is … Alyona Lanskaya. The Belarusian sweetaheart impressed with her hosting abilities tonight and proven to be quite a Eurostar.
Back to business, 10 acts participated in the Belarusian national selection and one got the ticket to Kyiv’s 11th Junior Eurovision edition on November 30th. I have to admit that watching the show was a suprise for me as it was my first ever Junior selection show and guess what: I was wondering how this country has such amazing voices amongst children!
Ilya Volkov won the show with the song “Poy so Mnoy”. The 11 years old will represent Belarus in Eurovision Junior 2013 edition. Ilya was selected by a 50%-50% split of jury and telephone voting, and scored a total of 18 points. His song is called “Poy so mnoy”, which means “Sing with me”. Good luck!
