JESC 2012: WHAT’S UP IN THE WEB WORLD
Vasil Dimitrov (Bulgaria)
It’s been four days since the preparations for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 started and already we have some highlights from the web coverage of the event. First of all remarkably lots of senior Eurovision fan sites started covering the event and pay more and more attention to the entire procedure.
Second we noticed that the first set of rehearsals went quite well in viewing (through the official EBU YouTube channel) with Russia taking the lead in viewing numbers. The official website launched also Instagram account for another version of their photos.
In terms of polls and predictions: Russia is predicted to win by oikotimes.com (so far) and a Portuguese poll while Israel is predicted in WiwiBloggs and Esckaz. Belgian sites predict Belgium to win (surprise) but Russia and Netherlands follow up. Indeed Netherlands can win you know.
A wonderful affiliated team formed for the needs of oikotimes.com in Amsterdam. Anton and Ivan update oikotimes.com and oikotimes.ru with their reviews, make videos for us and maintain the livestream on oikotimes.com while Nikki and Marc are giving us great photos with sentiment and aspect from the rehearsals and the rest of the activities.
