The 18 yo artist, who got fame after his participation in talent show The Voice 2018, will represent Belgium in the 64th Eurovision Song Contest performing an english language song entitled “Wake up”. Composer of the song is Pierre Dumoulin of Roscoe group who was behind the country’s Eurovision 2017 entry City Ligths which came 4th in the grand final in Kiev.
The organizers of Eurovision 2019 have another surprise, as it seems. According to the Ynet website, there are negotiations over the last few months with representatives of Madonna’s Queen of Pop!
The Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality today confirmed the construction of a site called Tent City, with the capacity to accommodate 2,000 people in Ganei Yehoshua Park HaYarkon.
DR, the Danish national broadcaster, has unveiled the hosts for 2019 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. The upcoming Danish national final will be hosted by two dashing well known Danish artists: Kristian Gintberg and Johannes Nymark. The 2019 Danish national final- DMGP is set to be held at the Boxen Arena in Herning on 23 February. The show will be broadcast live on DR 1 at 20:00 CEST. A total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Tel Aviv.
Specificaly, LTV announced in which semi final each act will perform. A total of 16 contestants will compete in the two semi final rounds claiming the right to win the golden ticket to Tel Aviv. Host of this year’s edition will be the duo Dagmar Legant and Ketija Schoenberg. The contestants will be judged by a jury and the audience at home, which can cast its votes by telephone, messages and the official website of Supernova.
