ITALY 2014: EMMA TO COPENHAGEN
Olivier Rocher (France)
ROME, ITALY – ROME, ITALY – Rumours are now confirmed. RAI appointed Emma Marrone as the 2014 Eurovision representative after internal selection and Sanremo 2014 will not be used as national final selection.
The lucky singer is Emma Marrone (29), a very big name in her home country, where she was already awarded no less than three platinium records. The entry she will sing is “La Mia Città” (My Town), an up tempo track taken from her latest and fourth album “Schiena vs Schiena” (Back To Back). Emma is no stranger to Sanremo Festival though, since she won it back in 2012 with the brilliant song “Non È l’Inferno” (It’s Not Hell).
Forza Emma!
