Israel complaints over Hungarian song title
TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – What would Eurovision be without some, lets say problems. We all know that Hungarian entry is titled “Wars for nothing” and those of you who have seen Boggie’s performance from A Dal, saw that there are a lot messages written on the screen during it. Well one was caught by Israeli ambassador in Hungary, as he filed a complaint to MTV.
Israel was not mentioned but the if you missed it, the problematic sentence is “2014 – Gaza – two-thirds of the victims were civilians, including more than 500 children.” MTV has agreed to remove this sentence for Eurovision, as also the rules are prohibiting any political influence.
