GREECE – During the morning show ‘To Proino’, panel member and MAD TV host, Themis Georgantas commented a recent interview of Helena Paparizou. The interview explained why she stopped for some years her career in Sweden, saying that she felt anger with the Swedish state because the ambulance came too late when her father died and along with her family sue the state, a legal action which her family lost in the end.
When the video ended the hostess and the panel admired the beauty of Helena Paparizou when Themis Georgantas threw a bomb (for some): ‘Helena wants to go to Eurovision again and she’s in discussions about it’. The hostess, Fay Skoda wondered the inevitable: “What is ERT’s Dionisio Tsaknis thinks about it?” and then they all laughed!
By the way in 2005 Helena Paparizou won the Eurovision Song Contest in… Kyiv!
THE FIRST STATEMENT ON 1/8
Helena Paparizou, the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest winner, actually never stopped dreaming a return to the Eurovision Song Contest. She was discussing potential comeback for Greece many times in the recent past and she also tried to represent Sweden few years ago. Now speaking on MAD TV’s evening show with Themis Georgantas, officially confirmed that if there is the right song she is not rolling out representing Greece again in the Eurovision Song Contest. In the meantime Helena enjoys one more year of success with the summer tour along with Myron Stratis and Isaias Matiaba.
