In an especially festive atmosphere, an event for the Greek mission in Eurovision, at the Israeli Ambassador’s home Irrit Ben -Apa, honored by Katerina Duska, was held on Tuesday, April 16th, to represent Greece in Tel Aviv with the song “Better Love”.
ERT Managing Director Yiannis Drossos thanked the Embassy and wished success to all contestants and was a great success for Katerina Duska.
Speaking, the Ambassador of Israel thanked ERT and wished every success to Katerina Duska. He reported that Israel has won Eurovision four times, underlining that Tel Aviv is an ideal city for the perfect competition.
Canadian Ambassador Mark Allen stressed that it is a great pleasure for the country where Greek-Canadian Katerina Duska participated in the contest and wished her good luck.
For her part, Katerina Duska stressed that she had the best impression on her recent trips to Tel Aviv and Israel and said her song “Better Love” is meant to send a message of solidarity, unity and peace among people.
The “present” at the celebration was given by commentators Giorgos Kapoutzidis and Maria Kozakou, Minos EMI executives, journalists, friends of the competition, as well as legends of the Greek artistic crest that have participated in Eurovision in the past, such as Elpida, Paschalis, Beys Argyraki, and Robert Williams.
