Germany 2018 🇩🇪 Michael Schulte criticised by Ralph Siegel
GERMANY – Michael Schulte, who will represent Germany in Lisbon at the Eurovision Song Contest, has been criticised by veteran composer, Ralph Siegel. Ralph Siegel stated that he is extremely surprised at why Michael has needed four composers to create a song which is about Michael’s father but did praise Michael’s talent, saying that he expected him to end up in a good final position in Lisbon.
Michael Schulte will perform “You let me walk alone” in Lisbon, while Ralph Siegel has a good history of Eurovision interaction, having previously taken part in a number of Eurovision finals. He was responsible for the San Marino 2017 entry, “Spirit of the night” and worked on the song which claimed Germany a first Eurovision victory in 1982, “Ein bisschen Frieden”. He has recently been working on attempts to finance the return of Bosnia-Herzegovina to Eurovision.
