Listen to Lazarev’s new song, the video of which made in Crete
ELOUNDA / CRETE, GREECE – Star singer Sergey Lazarev chose the Elounda SA hotels & resorts to shoot his new video clip for his song “Breaking away”. Sergey Lazarev is tipped to represent Russia for years now and in 2008 he ranked 4th while bidding to represent his country in Belgrade.
The main locations of the video clip where the terrace and the presidential suite of the elounda peninsula All Suite Hotel , the water sports center of porto elounda Golf & Spa resort, the jetties of the elounda mare hotel and the multi awarded Six Senses Spa.
The video clip starred famous Greek actress Tonia Sotiropoulou, who among others also had a role in the James Bond movie “Skyfall”. The video clip is going to premier on all major Russian music channels by the end of the year, while it is notable that this is the second time such a tremendously popular Russian artist uses the locations of our hotels for shooting his video clip, since Phillip Kirkorov, Russia’s National Artist, came to Elounda S.A hotels & resorts two years ago to shoot the video clip for his song “I let you go”.

In 2008 Sergey won MTV’s Artist of the Year Award. Consequently releasing the video of the Russian version of the song “Almost Sorry”, (Зачем придумали любовь) this one being the fifth and last single of the album. Songwriters of the Russian version (Chris Landon, Taryn Murphy, Lara D’elia). In 2009 Sergey collaborated with artist Timati and made a video of the song “Lazerboy”. In April 2009 Sergey promoted “Stereo”, the lead single for his third solo album and sang “Already Know” and “Out of Control”. All four songs were expected to appear on his upcoming album, but only “Lazerboy” made the cut.
