GALLERY: MEI FINEGOLD SHOOTS PREVIEWS
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – As we all know Mei Finegold, the Israeli representative, will present three songs and one of them will go to Copenhagen. The songs and videos (which were shot in just seven days) for everyone of them will be presented on February 27th, when the voting will also start and will last until March 5th, when the winning entry will be announced.
The rules stated that one of the songs should be written by Mei herself and that song is called Be Proud and the video for it was shot at Reading Power Station in Tel-Aviv. The next song was written by Rami Talmid and is entitled Same Heart. The video for it was filmed in Hameginim forest near Jerusalem and in an abandoned industrial area. Last, but not the least is a song with a Hebrew title and it is Nish’eret iti. Loren de Paz and Chen Metzger Eder wrote the music, while Loren wrote the lyrics.
Video was made in the Israel Railways museum in Haifa, inside a train from the 20th century. Here is what Mei said after the filming was finished: “I don’t realise the fact that we shot three videoclips in one week. It was very challenging and interesting. Facing a project like this is very different than everything I knew, as decisions must be made right away and without a plan B, but this was very magical as well. The whole team gave its heart and soul for this project and the work was very professional and fun. Every location turned right away to a place of joy and laughter. The final results are being prepared right now in the editing rooms and I can’t wait to let the public hear the songs and watch the videoclips. I hope that everyone would be pleased, just like me.”
Also, here are some photos from the shooting, that were made by Tal Azulay & David Sweeney.
