Freaky Fortune & Risky Kidd: “It wasn’t our fault”
ATHENS, GREECE – In a recent interview to EGO Magazine in Greece, Freaky Fortune and Risky Kidd talked about the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 experience and tried to explain several things.
Risky Kidd said that although he and his team knew they performed very well the low scoring in the voting during the final made him sad, accusing himself for the bad result. in the end though he realised that the song might have been treated unfair as the performance was really good. He also talked about his descent as he is half German and half Jamaican and how racism affected him; although he knew this is the country he wants to live in, he had many problems with the parents of his girlfriends!
Nikolas Raptakis, frontman of Freaky Fortune said that Conchita’s victory brought a big message to Europe and discussing the 20th place of Greece in the contest, stated that this year Greece didn’t have “the traditional voting allies” they had in the past hinting upon the absence of Serbia, Bulgaria, Cyprus etc.
