FINLAND – Finland’s national broadcaster channel, YLE, revealed that Etel Röhr, the Finnish finisher, will be on the side of Darude and Sebastian Rejman on Eurovision 2019. In the backing vocals in Tel Aviv, there will be three singers: Matti Leino, Heini Ikonen and Petri Somer.
Broadcaster confirmed the presentation of the song made at the UMK, will remain the same for Eurovision 2019, but some of the scenery will be changed for the contest.
Anssi Autio, producer of Finnish participation in Eurovision, said:
“The design of the stage presentation, the lights, the video, the clothes and the choreography, are made by Finns. Similarly, the artists are all Finns. In addition, we can be proud of the song’s message, which speaks of a global problem in an extraordinary way. “
“Look Away” was written by Sebastian Rejman and Ville Virtanen and was one of the three songs presented by Sebastian and Darude at UMK 2019. Darude explained on the song message that:
“Tragic things happen in the world. There are natural disasters, illnesses, wars and refugees. It is easier to look elsewhere than to see or think about these things. The message of the song is that you have to watch, watch and do something. “
