The winning song will be selected by the Finnish televoters and international juries. The international jury includes representatives from United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Israel, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Czech Republic. Finnish people can vote for their one favourite song free with the Yle.fi app. One vote on the app equals ten televotes. One televotes costs one euro and the money is donated to the Finnish Red Nose Day -organization. Earlier this week Yle also shared the song of this year’s opening number. The song is performed by the host Krista Siegfrids. From 2017’s “UMG Bitch” and 2018’s Suzy-inspired opening number, it seems this year Krista and the songwriters got inspired by Eesti Laul’s Kaia Tamm. (www.escxtra.com)
