The host nation of this year’s Young Dancers competition, Poland, has held their national final last night. In a competition of ten, the three members jury consisting of Jacek Przybyłowicz , Ewa Wycichowska and Grzegorz Pańtak have decided that it is Kristóf Szabó who will be representing Poland in Gdansk in June this year.

Jacek Tyski was the choreographer of the evening, and he created a special dance system, which he says is a contemporary dance with elements of classical music. After all ten dancers have performed, a three members jury decided that it was Kristóf Szabó who was the best one on the night, and he will thus represent Poland in Eurovision Young Dancers in Gdansk.

Kristóf is a final year student in a Ballet School. He took part in many different dancing projects, starred in television series “Głęboka woda” (Deep Water), and also won an international dance festival in Kiev.

Kristóf will be the seventh entrant for Poland in Eurovision Young Dancers. Poland won the Contest once, in 2001 with David & Marcin Kupinski
