EVRIDIKI: 20 YEARS AFTER MALMO VIDEO INTERVIEW

The team of www.oikotimes.com and www.oikotimes.com interviewed Evridiki, the artist who represented Cyprus many times as backing vocalist aswell as a solo artist in 1992, 1994 and 2007. 20 years after her first solo appearance in Malmoe, Sweden, Evridiki is now considering the return to Malmoe as a guest. The interview has four small parts. In the first part Evridiki speaks about her live appearances in Athens this season as she performs songs by Edith Piaf and Elvis Presley at Glass Music Theatre. She explains how these songs can be combined with Greek OSTs and presents her new partners on stage. In the second part she recalls memories from Malmoe Eurovision in 1992 and reveals she is considering to visit the city next May.
In the third part Evridiki explains how busy she is and she is anticipating a tour around the country for these live perfromances although she will spend holidays with her family. The interview ends with a very big surprise for all of us as she sings acapela the chorus of her 1992 entry in Eurovision, “Tairizoume” one of the best ever Cypriot entries in the contest composed and arranged by George Theofanous.
