EUROVISION YOUNG DANCERS 2013 KICKS OFF
The Eurovision Song Contest may be over for another year, but ‘Te deum’ will be playing again in two weeks’ time at the 2013 Eurovision Young Dancers contest.
Being held this year in Gdánsk, Poland, on the evening of Friday 14 June, participants aged 16-21 from 10 countries will take to the stage to show why they are among the best young dancing talent Europe has to offer. Each will perform a dance they have choreographed themselves, and as part of group number, with the top two progressing to a ‘dance-off’. The last two competitors standing will have to perform a spontaneous routine and impress the judges again to be crowned ‘Eurovision Young Dancer 2013’.
The countries taking part in this year’s competition are: Armenia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine.
Viewers will be able to follow the show live on television if they are in a participating country, or will be able to follow the show live on the official website of the contest at www.youngdancers.tv where you can also find out more information about this year’s competition and participants, as well as live coverage of the build-up and rehearsals starting on Friday 7 June.
