ISRAEL – KAN and the European Broadcasting Union announced over the weekend that Suchard will perform during the live grand finale of the competition on May 18 in Tel Aviv.
Suchard, who is a staple on US talk shows and performs around the globe, will debut a “brilliant new act” for the Eurovision.
While Suchard was one of several Israelis who auditioned to serve as a host for the show, he ultimately lost out the gig to Refaeli, Tal, Assi Azar and Lucy Ayoub.
But KAN officials clearly wanted him to be a part of the show regardless.
In a video released on Friday, Suchard tried to read the mind of Eurovision executive supervisor Jon Ola Sand, and astounded him by correctly guessing the song he was thinking about.
Master Mentalist @LiorSuchard will be a special guest star at this year's Eurovision Grand Final.
