
Eurovision 2019 🇮🇱 Host Broadcaster KAN appoints two key core team members for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest

EUROVISION.TV REPORTS / ISRAEL – Mrs Zivit Davidovitch has been appointed as the Executive Producer of the contest. She is currently Vice President Content and Production at Channel Ten in Israel and will join KAN next month. Davidovitch has worked at Channel Ten for the past fourteen years, first as Head of Production (Chief Producer) and three years later as Vice President Production.
She has vast experience in a variety of genres and the production of live and mega events, including major sports events like the World Cup and the Euro Cup, previously broadcast by Channel Ten, in addition to special events like Miss Israel and finals of reality shows on Channel Ten, like Survivor, Beauty and the Geek and the Bachelor. In 2013 she was also appointed as the channel’s VP Content.
Davidovitch was also part of the rebranding process of Channel Ten and responsible, among others, for the shows Heroes, Baby Boom, Real Faces and a variety of investigative programming, documentaries, and sitcoms like Girl-Friends, La Familia (recently purchased for production in Cyprus), Catch the Million (game show), the pre-prime-time slots, the late-night slot and a variety of other programs. Zivit was previously Head of Production for Herzliya Studios —one of Israel’s major television studios — and worked at CBS News in the United States.
Mr Yuval Cohen has been appointed as Editor in Chief and Lead Director. He hash a rich experience in development, editing and directing of leading television productions and live events.
Serving as Head of Programmes and Development in recent years at Channel Ten (10), he is a valued professional, who has been in charge of the Israeli adaptation of The Voice (as Chief Director and Editor), has edited Dancing with the Stars for 3 years, did the Israeli Eurovision National Selection in 2010 (Harel Skaat) on Channel 2 (Reshet), and has worked on variety of live tv events.
In addition, Cohen previously served as Reshet’s Editor in Chief for a variety of productions and genres, including drama, entertainment and reality programming, and has served as the Chief Editor of Gil Productions, an Israeli private leading production company, where he also directed and edited the highly successful docu-reality Baby Boom.
