ISRAEL – The EBU and KAN/IPBC meeting concluded with the Israeli national broadcaster announcing news next week. EBU representatives inspected the three bidding cities and their proposed venues. One of them though, don’t have a venue.
Eilat proposed the construction of a temporary venue in the port. But it seems the proposal is out of the race for the host city bidding. KAN informed us through Twitter that the city is out of the race.

This leaves Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in the run. With the issue of Sabbat in Jerusalem, it is almost clear that Tel Aviv is top in the hosting race (at least to most estimations). After all Tel Aviv community strongly promoted the city cover the years I tourism, LGBT and Eurovision communities.
