EUROPE – All promo events around Europe have now concluded. From Amsterdam to Moscow, alongside their social media promotion and Tel Aviv postcard filming, it would be interesting to see a comparison table of how bets formed after each event in Europe.
As you can see below the changes are extremely limited proving that the promo events didn’t work (at least so far). Though we have to admit that for many artists facing such a huge event like Eurovision for the very first time in their lives, experiencing these promo events and their media coverage is helpful and good coaching for their Tel Aviv venture.
The table overview below has to do mostly with everything followed each of the promo events this year without of course able to estimate parallel promotional activities by each of the artists.
You can notice of course that those who didn’t attend promo events (such a Russia, Cyprus and Malta) are doing quite well. Also you can see that The Netherlands made no impact in the betting odds as it remains top favourite since the day the Dutch entry announced.
