Eurovision 2017: take a seat… if you can; more than 10,000 spectators in the venue!
UKRAINE – As the start of the selling of tickets is getting closer and closer, and with the revelation of this year’s stage, new documents were released today, concerning the seating information concerning Eurovision 2017 venue, the IEC of Kiev.
This year’s arena will host about 10,000 spectators and it seems now obvious that Ukrainian organizers have followed EBU guidelines, focusing on the number of seats (instead of a huge standing area) in the second pavilion of the complex.
7,000 spectators will be seating, and about 3,300 will be standing in the 1,300 square meters zone in front of the stage.
One third of tickets (3,500) should go to a non-Ukrainian audience, and among them 30% (about 1,000 to 1,200) should be dedicated to Eurovision fan clubs, that is to say, almost half of the usual number in latest edition.
To make it short, IEC is getting ready, but if you’re a fan and want to attend the show you’d better be fast this year!
