Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – Following today’s announcement upon the participants of 2016 Melodifestivalen edition (#melfest) for the four semifinals – read more here – we noticed that the two songs Måns Zelmerlöw submitted to SVT didn’t qualify.
The oikotimes.com team back then reported as you can read in the link above, that participating in Eurovision and hosting the event is no longer allowed by the rules after the 2008 example when Joksimović hosted Eurovision in Belgrade while was the Serbian entry composer. Now that Måns is not in the line up for Melodifestivalen it’s clear (at least with the current information) that he is heading to host the event.
