EUROSONG 2013 – A MAD SHOW: KOZA MOSTRA & AGATHONAS INTERVIEW
Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
Koza Mostra leader singer Elias Kozas and Agathonas Iakovides spoke to oikotimes.com after their song presentation in Semiramis Hotel in Kifissia. The band who prepared the song “Alcohol is Free” seems to be the favourite for the Greek National Final 2013 and there are big chances to even see them in Malmoe if we believe the oikotimes.com poll and betting odds. If you also like them you can vote for them below.
Highlights from the video interview which was the first video of them speaking for Eurovision on the web. Elias Kozas said that he has great memories from the contest as every year he and his family and friends gather around ordering pizza and beer and watch the contest. His best Eurovision moments are 1977 Greek entry (Mathima Solfez) and of course the 2005 Greek triumph by Helena Paparizou. The idea for participating this year came by accident as they prepared this song for their upcoming album when ERT and the record label proposed to them an entry.
Agathonas seems very cool with the contest and replies to those accusing the contest as just a feast, that feasts are something good so it’s not wise to ignore them. If he had the chance and although he doesn’t know English he would like to have a duet with Zeljko Joksimovic!
