PRESS RELEASE – Zeljko Joksimovic, Natalia Podolskaya, Ivi Adamou and Koit Tomee. These are just four of the 33 singers nominated for the 13th edition of the Eurodanceweb Award, the online competition which since 2001 monitors the European dance scene and promotes local artists from every Country.
The final line-up features several artists who competed in this year’s Eurovision National Finals, such as Mohamed Ali (Dansk Melodi Grand Prix), Diandra (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu); Boris Covali (Moldovan Selection), Shany Zamir (Kdam), Liene Candy (Eirodziesma), Adelén (Norsk Melodi Grand Prix) and Michael Feiner feat. Caisa (1st semifinal of the Melodifestivalen).
Eurovision fans might also remember Victoria Loba, who represented FYR Macedonia at the first Junior Esc in Copenhagen ten years ago together with Marija Arsovska and Croatia’s Franka Batelic, winner of the OGAE Song Contest 2009 with “Ruža u kamenu” and finalist at Dora 2009 and 2010.
Within the end of the year readers and fans will have the chance to vote for their favourite song on an Online Poll, which has collected more than 2.200 votes in just one week!
A professional jury of djs, journalists, bloggers and producers will be involved in the voting procedure and will choose the best dance song of the year among all the nominees.
Since it launch in 2001, the Eurodanceweb Award has become one of the most important online competitions for dance music and has crowned some of the biggest names of the European record industry of the last decade such as Basshunter, Inna, Milk Inc, Alex C and Ultrabeat.
