DMGP 2013: GET TO KNOW THE PARTICIPANTS
Danish national final is gearing up and the Dansk MGP Participants talks about Eurovision and we had the chance to get to know the artists on their recent presentations on DR and EBU website. Frederikke Vedel is one of the participants and he loves 1990 Danish entry and Sweden’s Euphoria. Frederikke would love to beMalene Ernmann (2009 Sweden) for just one night!
Denmark 1982, 1957, 1963 and 2000 are the favourite entries of Brinck and the artist would prefer to imagine a day as a football player rather than a Eurovision entrant (so straight)! Kate Hall remembers Denmark 1990 entry as the first Eurovision memory and loves 1963 Danish and 2012 Swedish entry (what a surprise). Grethe Ingmann (Denmark 1963) would be an ideal a-star-for-a-day fantasy! Louise Dubiel recalls Denmark 1989 as his first Eurovision memory.
Trine from Daze explains that 1978 Danish entry was the first memory the singer had Jesper claims Carola’s entries (all the history of course). Trine would love to be Celine Dion and Jesper is still undecided. Simone Egeriis has a very recent first memory from Eurovision: it was the trophy of Olsen Brothers back in 2000 recalling how shocked the grandma was!
01. Frederikke Vedel – Jeg Har Hele Tiden Vidst Det
02. Brinck – Human
03. Kate Hall – I’m Not Alone
04. Louise Dubiel – Rejs Dig Op (Stand up!)
05. Daze – We Own The Universe
06. Simone Egeriis – Stay Awake
07. Jack Rowan feat. Sam Gray – Invincible
08. Emmelie de Forest – Only Teardrops
09. Albin – Beautiful To Me
10. Mohamed – Unbreakable
Jack Rowan recall Dernmark 2011 entry by a Friend in London and Emelie de Forest remembers also the Olsen Brothers victory in 2000 although she was just 7 years old (God!) 1963 Danish winner entry is the favourite Danish song ever and would love to be ABBA for a day if possible (impossible we would say). lbun remembers Carola’s victory in 1991 Eurovision Song Contest edition and fantasies Johnny Logan as a icon star. Last but not least Mohamed (one of the hottest and favourites of the contest) recalls the 2000 Danish victory as his first Eurovision moment and his favourite Eurovision song (of course) is Euphoria!
