DILARA KAZIMOVA AFTER EUROVISION 2014
BAKU, AZERBAIJAN – Azerbaijani entry for Eurovision 2014 Dilara Kazimova starts preparing her next solo album. She is starting with recording of three songs, just right after her short holiday break in Cyprus. To get her best for the album, Dilara is going to travel across Europe and work with different music producers.
“I wouldn’t share any details but one of the songs will be up-tempo. I like to experiment in music and to challenge myself with diverse genres. We will start with recording of three songs as singles. And then full album will be completed hopefully by the end of this summer,” says Dilara.
Dilara wants to work with different songwriters and producers, therefore much time will be spent travelling in Europe. But she also plans to work Azerbaijani musicians in her hometown Baku. After recordings, she also plans to release a music video on the main single later this summer.
Dilara has also commented on her participation in Eurovision 2014. “It was an amazing experience and I’m really grateful for every single day I’ve spent in Copenhagen working with my team,” shares Dilara.
“I was pleasantly surprising to find out that European jury placed me on the 8th place. It’s a great honour to get this kind of recognition from European music professionals. As for the winner of Eurovision 2014, it’s a good sign that Europe, including Eastern Europe, is getting more tolerant and open-minded. I also personally think that Dutch duet Common Linnets on the 2nd place, it’s a victory of good music taste of Eurovision fans.” she said.
