Tamta has spoken for the first time about her Eurovision participation on a live link with Andreas Yiortsios’ program Happy Hour on RIK1: “It’s a great joy, I am very excited, it’s an honor and I want to say a huge thank you to RIK, who for the second consecutive year makes me a proposal. Thank you for your trust and I hope all Cypriots will will be proud. Replay is a thoroughbred pop piece. It’s in kind that I represent over the years, from a creator who has written world successes. I heard it, I felt it, and we went with it”, said Tamta underlining that it is important that it is Alex P. behind the song, with whom she has already collaborated in the past.

Earlier this year Alexander Rybak and Elina Nechayeva performed on the Lisbon stage and after becoming good friends, have now announced details for a joint concert. This will be held on 20th February 2019. Between them they will bring together the forces of classical and pop in Brno. The second largest city in the Czech Republic. Both artists took to social media to reveal the good news.
Georgia is looking for a song that its Georgia Idol winner will perform at Eurovision in Tel Aviv. Submitted songs should be less than 3 minutes long and should not be presented to the public before. Deadline to submit songs, a biography of songwriters and photo to email@example.com is 1 February. Songs can also be submitted to GPB headquarters in Tbilisi, Kostava str 68.

Delegation member Lee Smithurst tweeted that BBC has decided the two out of the three songs which will compete in the UK final. The three songs will performed by two artists in different style and from the song off procedure one performer will qualify to the super final.
