FRANCE – Destination Eurovision : Vitaa and André Manoukian join Christophe Willem and Garou. This year, however, the jury will analyze and share their feelings about the entries in the running but will not vote and all Destination Eurovision shows will be broadcast live.
GREECE – Shaya Hansen, who was a big favorite to win the 2015 Greek selection, has confirmed that she would be willing to attempt again to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest.
SWEDEN – Alcazar’s Lina Hedlund gets surprise marriage proposal from gladiator boyfriend. The couple has been together for nine years and they have two children. And while Lina has been keen to get married, Nassim was waiting for the right moment to pop the question. He told Aftonbladet, “Lina has been on me for nine years to get married. … I’ve been waiting for the right time. I waited until we filled Friends Arena.”
GREECE – We stay in Greece as Dimitris Kontopoulos (co-composer of 2008 Ukrainian entry) posted his notes over the song in a throwback post. What you can notice is the title change from Magic Lady to Shady Lady… (well we at oikotimes.com had something to do with it…)
AUSTRIA – ORF’s Eurovision consultant Eberhard Forcher has reacted to the contoversial self-declared candidacy of Hyäne Fischer – saying the Eurovision Song Contest decision is not finalized yet and will be taken in the next 2-3 weeks. Forcher has desribed synthie-disco-pop number as a mix between Marianne Rosenberg and Pet Shop Boys, however without specifying if political satyre can indeed be considered for the Eurovision participation.Hyäne Fischer though disagrees for being labelled by press as political: “Politics is not my thing. My Motto is #DareToDream”.
FINLAND – In a recent tweet, YLE sparkled the web rumours as they seem to have leaked that Eva & Manu will be the representatives for Finland in Eurovision 2019.

ALBANIA – Vikena Kamenica wwilll not make a come back to Festivali i Këngës after 22 years as planned due to professional obligations and reasons. Artemisa Mithi & Febi Shkurti willl reeplace her with the song “Dua ta besoj”.
ISRAEL – Two contestants have performed in yesterday’s 4th episode of HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion and both have managed to qualify to the next round.
