LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – The 1998 and 2011 Israeli Eurovision representative, Dana International, will be the star of a Eurovision Extravaganza in London on May 12 to celebrate the country’s 68th birthday.
On the same day, Israel takes part in the second semi final of the contest in Stockholm. Tickets for the Eurovision Extravangaza Yom Ha’atzmaut party vary between £25.00 and £65.00 and are on sale online. The venue, which will be in central London, is yet to be announced.
“I’m so excited to be coming back to London to enjoy Yom Ha’atzmaut with all of you! England holds so many amazing memories for me, since it’s where I won the Eurovision contest in 1998. I can’t wait to bring some of that Eurovision magic for this unique celebration of Israel’s birthday!”, Dana International said.

Dana International won the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest for Israel and remains the country’s latest Eurovision victor. Thirteen years later, she returned to the Eurovision stage but failed to qualify to the final. This year, Israel will be represented by Hovi Star with the song “Made of Stars”. He will perform 4th in the second semi final on May 12.
