REVIEW OF THE SHOW
The first country to open the second semifinal is Malta. This entry is creating diverse emotions. All of us here love the song but we are afraid with the draw. The performance goes perfectly and the vocals are perfect. Israel was next and she did gave a great performance although I think I had the impression her voice was a bit exhausted. A great entry by the way. Norway is performing one of the most sentimental songs this year and Carl Espen is giving an amazing vocal perfomance. Yes, sme of you might sleep but that’s because you are soulles. Next country is Georgia and besides most press center actually laughs, everyone ignores the song and chats with the others. Definitely a song that doesn’t appeal eitherby vocal or stage presentation. It’s indeed three minutes to boredom. Fifth entry for tonight and Poland makes the press center applauding and shouting. Donatan and Cleo are indeed giving us the most sexiest and impressive stage presentation. We all gonna vote for it!
Time for the first Eurovision Record award of the night and the first break. Most Claps award goes to Austria 1976. Off to country number 6 and the arena is really SHAKING: Conchita from Austria, gives an outstanding performance and the press center plus the arena are making the entire #Eurovision island trembling. The applause doesn’t stop throught the song. Vienna 2015 is highly likely all of the sudden (mark my words)! Lithuania is next and although it’s a nice tune, in the begining of the song Vilija is barely heard. I love the tune but here everyone hates it don’t know why. I think it’s not an easy qualifier but won’t be surprised if they do so! Continuing with the show we have a fantastic rock performance by a song that no one paid attention before: Finland is giving a great vocal performance of their pop rock song and the camera work makes me feel I am attending the MTV EMA! Off to Ireland and this song is really confusing me. The performance is great but somehow I think there is no chemistry on stage. Kasey Smith and the Irih dancers make it impressive. I think though it will go to the final although vocally Kasey was unstable! Belarus was next with Teo giving a great performance and made the stage looking like a bachelor party. Well done, I hope he qualifies as voting for Belarus is never easy but if Alyona qualified this one can do the same as well.
Tijana from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia made an impressive vocal and stage presentation of the song. This woman believes in her song and she is ready to fight for it. Great camera work and amazing black and white lights. Switzerland is next and Sebalter is receiving a smashing applause in the opening of the song. People are clapping along with the performance and his hunk looks with his great performance plus a great running order will easily (?) lead him to the final. Despite an unacceptable problem with the microphone for Risky Kidd, Greece shaked the B&W Hallerne and the acrobatic was perfect tonight. ATHENS GET READY we are THAT close to #RiseUp the trophy! Slovenia: excuse me but after the stunning performance of Greece, seeing Tinkara and the flute doesn’t really mean something for me, not because I am Greek and not because the song is bad (it’s not bad at all) but it has no magic in it to make us all vote for it! (unfortunately) Last but not least Romania on stage: Paula gives an outstanding vocal performance although some of us here disagree on why so many things take place on stage. Paula and Ovi defend their return to Eurovision and maybe a Miracle will happen for them tonight
so that’sit folks… stay tuned for the next post about the results!
