LINZ, AUSTRIA – A few days ago, the 19th edition of the prestigious “Austrian Event Awards” ceremony was held in the city of Linz.
As expected, the 2015 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, organized by the EBU and Austrian broadcaster ORF was the big winner of the night.
The show itself received the Gold Award in the category “Overall Communication” as well as a special award as “Green Event”.
In addition, the Vienna Sphere (the inflatable sphere every euro fan could see during Eurovision week) was granted with the Gold Award for “Public Event/Charity/Social/Cultural) and our beloved EuroVillage got the bronze in the very same category.
This is the confirmation that the 60th edition of the contest was a big success, in and out of the arena (and that Austrian are very proud of their organisation…).
