Busy schedule for Axel Hirsoux
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – From accepting awards to appearing on tv shows, Axel Hirsoux is a busy man! In the aftermath of his Eurovision appearance, the singer has a busy schedule for the remainder of 2014.
The singer made his appearance during the 5th edition of the Wallonian award show ‘Mouche D’Or’, who celebrate the worst of the media, to accept an award on behalf of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Our annual and most favourite tv show won in the category ‘The Golden age of Tv show hook, which you watch with full excitement, but four minutes in you pray to the holy virgin to become deaf’ award (Auch!) It’s not the first award Hirsoux has accepted in the last month. The singer recently accepted the award for best live performance at Eurovision, during ‘Zomerhit’, an award handed out by Radio channel Radio 2. The main price however was scooped up by 2Fabiola & Loredana, who also took part in Eurosong this year and scored a huge summer hit in Belgium with their entry ‘She’s After My Piano’ (written by Romania’s 2010/2014 Ovi).
No performance at ‘ Les Mouches D’Or’ from Axel, however but Belgian viewers will be able to see the singer on tv screens again soon when he takes part in the second season of ‘Sing That Song’, a new music show on Belgian Broadcaster Een in which two teams of two professional singers take each other on, aided by two pianists. Hadise (Turkey ’09), Koen Wauters (Clouseau, Belgium 91) and Sergio (Belgium ’02) have also been announced as guests for the show.
There’s also new music coming our way. Axel confirmed he’s to release a third yet to be named single in November, which is according to the singer a duet with a female singer, of who the singer declined to give away her name. Marie David or Sandra Kim perhaps?
