JESC 2013: MOLDOVAN CRISIS ENDED
CHISINAU, MOLDOVA – Rafael Bobeica will represent Moldova at the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest although a court rulled annulled the result of the national final. The appeal is official and the case dismissed.
The court ruling (on 8/11) came after a case brought by Vasile Morosanu, a teacher of one of the other national final participants who said he was unhappy with how the national final played out.
There has been string of complaints against the way the national final was conducted with many claiming there was bias towards Rafael from the jury. A commission set up to investigate the alleged problems was unable to find any misconduct.
A fundraising concert to finance Rafael’s trip to Kiev was suppose to take place on November 20. Remember you can still support the Moldovan entry (until further notice) in our Junior Europrediction here.
