SARAJEVO, BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA – The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest, Dalal & Deen feat. Ana Rucner and Jala, will travel to Stockholm on Sunday and are preparing for their performance which they describe as “explicit”.
Deen says their stage routine will be “very clear, to the point and will send a very nice message to Europe and the world in three minutes”. “It will be a theatrical performance produced by Haris Pašović. The concept is edgy and explicit, while the message is clear. We are fighting for love and equality and that we should enjoy one another”, Deen says. “We will bring the stage down”, he adds.
Dalal says she is pleased Bosnia and Herzegovina will be one of only three countries performing in their native language. “We are representing our country with this song. Sure, the lyrics can be adapted to English but we want to sing in Bosnian”. Deen adds, “People like listening to our language. The entire Russian bloc understands us”.
The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina say they have made friends with representatives from the former Yugoslavia and that their main aim s to bring their country back to the Eurovision scoreboard after a three year hiatus.
