LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Blue the band who participated in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, participated in the London Pride which took place today and it was huge success. They even said to an interview to our sisters at wiwibloggs.com that they would love to participate again in the Eurovision Song Contest. Here is their message for the London Pride:
Well done to Pride in London for such an amazing event which we were proud to be part of today. Thank you to all the people behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to put on event to remember. And thanks to the Met Police for keeping us all safe. The spirit of Pride was there for everyone. Of course as the boys in Blue we had to have a sneaky pic with the girls in blue.
Happy Pride Everyone
Thousands of people have taken to the streets of London for the annual Pride parade. More than 250 groups took part in the parade, which started in Baker Street at 13:00 BST. Police said there was extra security on the route following terror attacks in France, Tunisia and Kuwait on Friday. The United States flag joined Ireland and Mozambique’s at the front of the march, recognising recent gay rights progress in the three countries.
