BELGIUM – In a more confident way, Sennek gives a good and promising performance. Belgium was originally considered a favourite for the 2018 Eurovision trophy but the promo tour performances were bad enough to destroy any thoughts for bringing the trophy to Brussels. This time with better make up and mystic allure on the catwalk Sennek seems to bring again the big question: will this one qualify? I am not sure she will make it (at least not easily). Remember we will see one fo the most difficult semi finals on May 8th and anything is possible. Not the best camera work (better than the first round though) and still backing vocals should be inline better.
BELGIUM 🇧🇪 ON THE WEB
ESCKAZ.COM: Sennek’s performance is really good, she looks more confident and very relaxed on stage. It’s still all dark – but I think it suits her and her song.
ESCBUBBLE.COM: The only negative thing I have to comment is the outfit choice – the lighting is very dark and moody, a lot of dark blues and black.
ESCXTRA.COM: Simple, sultry and lots of changes as Sennek rehearses for Belgium.
EUROVOIX.COM: The end of the performance sees the backing singers embrace Ari, this is change from the first run through. The opening lighting is a bit shaky. Elegant performance and a serious turn around from the first rehearsal. Belgium should improve in the odds.
DESTINATIONEUROVISION.PL: Vocally, she is good, not great, but still there’s something missing in this performance to make it stand out among the other songs, as this semifinal has many high-quality acts. Still, Belgium has a few more days to fix it.
