Belarus 2016: national final only with public voting
MINSK, BELARUS – Belarusian national broadcaster announced today that the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest entry will be selected by a national selection in which only the public will have a say.
The organisers think that only the public can be a transparent way to choose our entrant. The juries were introduced in 2013 after a vote rigging in 2012 when Alyona Lanskaya first won the national selection (a year later she represented Belarus in Eurovision).
On Friday, BTRC will announce more information and will start accepting song submissions.
