ISRAEL 2014: NATIONAL FINAL IN MARCH
TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – The Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) will hold a national selection again this year to select its entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest.
It was recently revealed in the Israeli website Mako that a 3 song national selection will be broadcast in March. Two songs will be performed by artists approached by IBA and one will come from the public.
Several artists have already rejected IBA invitation: Ronnie Dloomy, Kathleen Reiter, Raz Shmueli and Ronnie Dawnie (to name a few. On the other hand, some have expressed interest, like Maya Buscaglia or Chen Ahroni (national finalist in 2011).
