APRIL 30: MEET & GREET WITH EUROSTARS
COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – The third day of meet and greet sessions continue with www.eurovision.tv streaming live. The artists come to the press center after their reharsal and viewing room and discuss with DR hosts and the journalists.
Austria seems to have stolen the lights in the press area. Huge queue for interviews and massive interest for Conshita. She amazed everyone at the meet and greet session and thank God, DR stopped the silly – and already answered – questions about her sexuality. Here is the video.
Vilija from Lithuania will compete in the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Attention”. At her meet & greet she talked about the first rehearsal and she was asked to sing a jazz and blues song, and so she did! One from her delegation was at the audience and he wanted to see what was in her right pocket. It was an apple she did not finish before going to the stage.
Finnish Softengine will sing “Something Better” on the stage in Copenhagen. At their press meet & greet they said that their rehearsal went very well and they liked the sound in the arena. They played an acoustic version of their Eurovision song as well.
The Irish delegation was next in the meet and greet with the press and media representatives. They seem excited with their performance although speaking to Irish fans they are not thrilled at all with what they saw on the monitor today.
Teo from Belarus was one of the sweetest participants at the meet and greet sessions. He tried for 4 years to enter the Eurovision Song Contest and we all welcomed him with the best wishes for his entry. He explained his song messgae and the lyrics and got lots of questions from the press.
After the first rehearsal in the arena Freaky Fortune & Risky Kidd met the press and fans at the Meet & Greet in the Press Centre. They sang a mix of Eurovision winners from “Only Teardrops” to “Wild Dances” and there was a birthday surprise for Nicolas with carrot cake. Happy Birthday!
