Veklenko previously performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 as one of the backing singers for Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila in their performance of “This Time”; along with the three other backing singers, Jurijus took part in a same-sex kiss as part of the final performance. In 2017, Veklenko performed the main vocal for lip-sync drag-act Lolita Zero, in her Lithuanian national final entry “Get Frighten”. Veklenko won the 2019 Lithuanian national final with the song “Run with the Lions”, and will represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv.
One month after the release of newest single ‘Don’t Worry Bout Me’ Zara is now releasing ‘WOW’ that most recently was featured in a commercial for Citibank. After the commercial the song quickly became one of the 50 most Shazamed songs in the US. ‘WOW’ is now finally released on all music platforms as a bonus for her fans. Edurne García Almagro is a Spanish singer, actress, and TV presenter. She rose to fame in late 2005 when she took part in the Spanish casting show Operación Triunfo on TVE and finished in sixth place in 2006. She represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “Amanecer” where she finished in 21st place. On 14 January 2015, TVE announced the internal selection of Edurne to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “Amanecer”. In the final of the contest, which took place in Vienna on 23 May 2015, the song finished 21st overall. “Amanecer” is included in Edurne’s sixth studio album Adrenalina, which was released on 16 June 2015. Adrenalina debuted at number six on the Spanish Albums Chart, her most successful entry since her debut album. On 31 October 2018, it was announced Edurne would be joining the cast of daytime soap opera Servir y proteger
Nathan born in Innsbruck, Austria, to an Austrian father and an Italian mother. On 18 June 2016, Trent released his debut single “Like It Is”. On 19 December 2016, Trent was announced as the Austrian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. His song, “Running on Air”, was released on 28 February 2017. At the time of his selection as the Austrian entrant, Trent was one of the 33 artists that had been shortlisted in Unser Song 2017, the contest to select the German entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. He was automatically eliminated, as a performer can not represent more than one country in the same year by European Broadcasting Union regulations. He ultimately finished 16th in the contest, with 93 points.
Pænda was born in January 1988, in Deutschlandsberg, Styria. She started singing in a choir in her home town at the age of six. At fourteen, she began songwriting and singing in various pop rock bands. She took guitar and piano lessons and moved to Vienna at age 20 to study pop and jazz music at the Vienna Music Institute [de], where she graduated with honors in 2013. She currently lives in Vienna, writing, composing and producing her music at her home studio. Pænda records and writes everything by herself. In 2019, Pænda was chosen by a team of music experts and broadcaster ORF to represent Austria at the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv. She will be performing her song “Limits”.
Céline Marie Claudette Dion is a Canadian singer. Born into a large family from Charlemagne, Quebec, she emerged as a teen star in her homeland with a series of French-language albums during the 1980s. She first gained international recognition by winning both the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, where she represented Switzerland. After learning to speak English, she signed on to Epic Records in the United States. In 1990, Dion released her debut English-language album, Unison, establishing herself as a viable pop artist in North America and other English-speaking areas of the world.
Salvador Vilar Braamcamp Sobral is a Portuguese singer, who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 for Portugal with the song “Amar pelos dois”, written and composed by his sister Luísa Sobral. In doing so, he gave Portugal its first ever win in the contest since its debut in 1964, ending the longest winless run by a country in Eurovision history (53 years). Sobral and his entry hold the Eurovision record for the highest-scoring winner, having earned a total of 758 points under the current voting system, after winning both the jury vote and televote.
Christopher Edward Medina is an American-Norwegian singer born in Chicago, Illinois. In late 2010 he auditioned for American Idol making it to the top 40 before being eliminated. He is most famous for his hit “What Are Words”, which reached number 1 in Sweden and Norway; it also charted in Denmark and made it to number 83 on Billboard Hot 100.
