Herzliya will be the only city besides Tel Aviv to host official Eurovision delegations. Municipality of Herzliya is working on the special event in honour of the delegations that will stay in The Sharon Hotel and other hotels in Herzliya. It is believed that thanks to this Herzliya, which is recognized as one of the leading tourist cities in Israel, will receive broad exposure both in the national media and in the foreign media. Herzliya Marina has acted as the venue for the Opening Ceremony and The Red Carpet of Israel Calling promotional event in previous years.
Leonora has revealed that the giant chair from Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will remain for her performance at Eurovision 2019.

Speaking on B so točka, Tamara Todevska has revealed new details of her staging for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Tamara will be alone on stage for her performance of “Proud” in Tel Aviv. Her backing singers will be off stage, the backing singers are: Antonia Gigovska, Aleksandra Janeva and Vasil Garvanliev.
The third German preview show took place this evening, with eleven acts going up in front of the jury and the public online vote. Italy topped the show with the highest points score on ESC-Songcheck to date from the online vote. Italy, Switzerland and Sweden topped the show voting.

Songwriter Les Reed has died at the age of 83, his family has confirmed. He was well known for co-writing Tom Jones hits Delilah and It’s Not Unusual, as well as Engelbert Humperdinck’s The Last Waltz. Reed struck up another songwriting partnership with Barry Mason. They wrote a song for Kathy Kirby, “I’ll Try Not To Cry”, as part of A Song for Europe 1965, the BBC’s contest to choose the United Kingdom entry for that year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Naples. The song was beaten by “I Belong”
Australian broadcaster SBS has revealed that Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasy will return for a third year to commentate on the Eurovision Song Contest for Australia. Myf and Joel took over commentating duties from Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang in 2017. Myf is a well-known radio show host and television personality. Joel Creasey is a comedian and actor, he has been performing stand up since he was 17 and has performed across the world.
Jonida Maliqi will soon take the stage at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest representing Albania with Ktheju tokës. The important backing vocalists have been officially announced today. There are the names who will be on the stage as part of the Albanian team with Jonida. They are Wendi Mancaku, Artemisa Mithi and Tiri Gjoci.
Cinesa has partnered with the Spanish national broadcaster to enable fans to watch the final of Eurovision 2019 live in cinemas across Spain. This means that for a third year running, the contest will be broadcast to audiences in 41 cinemas across Spain. Tickets are available to be booked here.
The European Broadcasting Union has confirmed to Eurofestivales, that the application of the Catalan broadcaster TV3 is being considered. It was first reported in December of 2018, that Catalonia was looking to apply for full membership of the European Broadcasting Union. Claire Rainford a spokesperson for the EBU explained to Eurofestivales that: “The TV3 application for EBU membership is being considered, the final decision is likely to be made in the summer.” (www.eurovoix.com)
