Following Amsterdam mayor Femke Halsema statement that Amsterdam wail bid for potential hosting of Eurovision 2020 in case bookies favourite Duncan Laurence wins, independent political party Group De Mos/Hart voor Den Haag brought also the issue of hosting. They believe The Hague would be ideal choice especially since it would coincide with th 75th anniversary of Dutch peace following the end of WWII.
1992 Portuguese Eurovision hopeful Dina has passed away today aged 62. Dina had been fighting against lung fibrosis since 2006, she passed away last night at Lisbon’s Hospital Pulido Valente. Through the website of the Presidency, President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa lamented the death of singer-songwriter Dina, winner of the Song Festival, recalling his “participation in the Song Festival in the early 1980s”, as well as his victory in 1992 and his participation in Eurovision: “I offer my condolences to the family of the composer and singer Dina.
Michela’s choreographer will be Swedish singer Ambra Succi who had choreographed Loreen in “Euphoria”, winning Sweden’s fifth victory at Eurovision. She has collaborations with great names in the world music scene (Pink, Zara Larsson, etc.) and she has also choreographed many Melodifestivalen (Renaida – All the Feels, Danny Saucedo – In the Club, etc.) She was also behind Police Genova, Robin Stjernberg and Jana Burceska.

While Israel is gearing up for the Eurovision Song Contest that will take place in Tel Aviv in May, Jewish youth from nine different European countries gathered in Antwerp, Belgium, to participate in the Jewrovision Song Contest. The event was sponsored by World Bnei Akiva (WBA) and by the KKL-JNF Education Department.
The first on the German preview shows has taken place this evening, with ten acts going up in front of the jury and the public online vote. The full results of the show were as follows:
Cyprus – 7.6 points (Online), 10 points (Alina), 10 points (Stefan) – 8.8 points
Slovenia – 7.4 points (Online), 10 points (Alina), 7 points (Stefan) – 8 points
