A unique reunion for the 1974 Eurovision winners, ABBA
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – All four former members of ABBA have reunited for the opening of a new business venture in Stockholm. The dining-entertainment venue, based on the Greek taverna featured in the ABBA-themed film Mamma Mia!, is the idea of ABBA star Bjorn Ulvaeus.
He was joined for the opening night by Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, and Agnetha Faltskog. They were last seen in public together in 2008. The four ABBA stars were last seen in public together for the film premieres of Mamma Mia! in London and Stockholm in 2008.
Despite talks of a possible reunion, the four stars yesterday firmly said they were against such an idea. Many will hope however they do return for just one more performance – in May in Stockholm.
