Armenia 2017: Artsvik shoots her Eurovision postcard

ARMENIA – Artsvik has just finished shooting her postcard for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. This year the postcards will present the most precious and memorable moments for the artists – right before they go live on stage.

For Artsvik, one of this moments was winning Armenia’s national selection “Depi Evratesil”, a 3 month long musical battle that featured more than 90 Armenian artists from all around the world. Together with song co-authors Lilith Navasardyan and Avet Barseghyan, Artsvik will fly over deeps and hills on a giant air balloon, discovering Armenia’s beautiful nature and sights.

The postcard will also feature scenes from Noravank – an ancient monastery complex and a spiritual centre build in the 8th century. Nowadays it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Armenia. In the end the viewers will see Artsvik together with her 3 backing vocalists Anushik Ter- Ghukasyan, Victoria Poghosyan, Amalia Margaryan and song co-author David Tserunyan enjoying their time at one of the wineries in downtown Yerevan.

“I had a lot of fun shooting my postcard for Eurovision. We spend the whole day traveling to different locations to shoot the scenes. It was tiring but very exciting. One of the most memorable moments from that day was flying on a giant air balloon. It was always my dream and I am very happy to have this unique experience!
