Deputy PM says it almost clearly: Russia will not compete in Kyiv


UKRAINE – Deputy Prime Minister states there is no hope for Russian representative to compete in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, speaking to Obozrevatel, hoping that Russia will change its singer and send to Kyiv someone who’s not on the so called black list.

While EBU is upset over the Ukrainian government decision, Jon Ola Sand and Ingrid Denture are seeking possible solutions. Already solutions like the satellite participation and the lift of the restrictions until the end of the Eurovision 2017 edition have been rejected by the Ukrainian government.

Although there were indications that the singers of the Armenian and Bulgarian representatives visiting Crimea in 2015 and 2016 there seems to be a huge surprise for the Ukrainians as a huge scandal is about to emerge soon and this time against them!
