EBU will ban Ukraine from Eurovision if Russian crisis continues

SWITZERLAND – Blich.ch reports today that EBU has had enough of the nonsense between Russia and Ukraine in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest finally! Although EBU officially states that there is no official letter to them saying that Yulia Samoilova is not welcomed in Ukraine next May, we all know that Ukrainians have decided to cause crisis with the Russian participation.

EBU Director General Ingrid Deltenre, despite resigning the EBU in June, said that EBU and Ukrainian government are working for a satisfactory solution in the crisis and she is deeply regretting the Eurovision Song Contest has been used for political abuse as it aims to unite people. Ms Detelnre says that if no solution has been found and Russia cannot participate then Ukraine will be temporarily out of the Eurovision Song Contest!

  1. If it turns out Ukraine gets banned from Eurovision for a whole year, then maybe the contest can be moved to the United Kingdom. Probably London’s O2 Arena.
