BULGARIA – Earlier today Bulgarian national broadcaster tweeted that there is a delay in the announcement of the participant for Kyiv as there are concerns about the participation, causing a series of posts about potential withdrawal of the country from the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. Later on the broadcaster explained that originally there were thoughts to make the announcement on very early of March but there are considerations about the artist and the song and not about the country’s participation. It is pointed out that it could be a last minute announcement just to increase excitement.
