Eurovision 2017: fan tickets available (after all)

EUROVISION.TV REPORTS / UKRAINE – The EBU, UA:PBC and OGAE have today announced that 900 ticket packages will be sold to Eurovision fan club members around the world, starting at 11CET on Monday 27th February. Each package is made up of tickets to the three jury shows, the three live shows in Kyiv. The allocations, prices and purchase procedures for these packages are to be communicated by fan club OGAE shortly.

The 900 packages are made up of the following:
430 packages for the Golden Circle standing area immediately next to the stage
170 packages for the Fan Zone standing area
300 packages for seats
100 packages will be reserved exclusively for Ukrainian fans, and will be allocated by OGAE International to members of OGAE Ukraine as well as other local fan organisations.

EBU Event Supervisor Nadja Burkhardt said, “After some negotiations, we are pleased that the EBU has been able to help OGAE, UA:PBC and Concert.UA agree on terms for an allocation of fan packages this year. The EBU strongly values the OGAE community’s contribution to Eurovision year on year, and we are delighted that a resolution could be found for the events in Kyiv”.

President of the OGAE International Network, Simon Bennett, said “I am delighted that we are able to continue the long tradition of allowing OGAE members to receive an allocation of tickets to the live Eurovision shows, and very grateful to both UA:PBC and the EBU for their support. Thousands of our members applied for fan ticket packages and whilst we will not be able to offer all of them tickets, the 900 lucky ones will be thrilled that their patience has paid off. Our members are already preparing their flags and will do their best to create that unique Eurovision atmosphere in the arena in May”.

The Eurovision Song Contest is very popular and we expect a large demand for these packages, so some may experience delays in purchasing tickets. The EBU urges all fans of the contest to be patient, and continue to purchase their tickets using codes provided by the OGAE only, and via the official channel only,, in order to ensure they are purchasing genuine, valid tickets for the event.
