KYIV, UKRAINE – The European Broadcasting Union have confirmed through their official website that Ruslana will be joining Zlata Ognevich and Emmelie de Forest on the stage of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Kyiv. This doesn’t come as a surprise as the Ukrainian Eurovision winner is one of the most popular artists in the host country.
Ruslana held a press conference before departing for a promo visit to Brazil in which she expressed her wish to conquer the European public with children choirs during the Junior Eurovision in Kyiv. The Eastern European superstar is currently participating in the Ukrainian version of the “Clash of the Choirs” TV show.
During the same press conference, the winner of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, also admitted that she wishes to represent Ukraine again in the contest. The news has been already covered by the news bulletin of the main local commercial TV channel 1+1.
This passion begins in 1984, in 1996 I established oikotimes as a printed pamphlet and in 2001 as a website turned eventually into Eurovision. The best thing happened is that I got to know some great friends.
